My Approach to Learning Design
I believe the most effective learning experiences sit at the intersection of strategy, science, and storytelling.
Strategy
I design learning with a clear intent that’s grounded in business goals, performance outcomes, and measurable impact. Every experience begins with the question: What should learners be able to do differently? From there, I align content, activities, and assessment to drive real-world application and sustained performance improvement.
Science
My work is rooted in evidence-based instructional design and human-centered learning principles. I apply learning science and best practices in user experience (UX) to create experiences that are intuitive, inclusive, and effective for diverse audiences—without adding unnecessary complexity.
Storytelling
Learning sticks when it feels real. I use scenario-based and simulation-driven design to place learners in authentic situations where decisions matter. By blending storytelling with data-informed design, I create transformative learning experiences that move beyond content consumption to behavior change.
